Morris County Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi is pleased to announce that Morris County has once again experienced a crime decrease for the calendar year 2010.

Morris County has the highest decrease in the State of New Jersey for the total crime index as of 12/31/10.

Overall, from the beginning of Prosecutor Bianchi's term in 2007 through 2010, Morris County's total crime index has decreased 12.82%.

Morris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi stated:

"This is a direct reflection of the tenacious work of the Morris County law enforcement community. We have all worked very hard on our Countywide Crime Plan to gather meaningful crime intelligence, conduct fruitful investigations and prosecutions to eradicate those persons who pose the greatest danger to the community."
