25-year-old Harding resident pleads guilty to robbing Morristown bank twice

A 25-year-old Harding reident pleaded guilty today to robbing the TD Bank on South Street in Morristown twice within four days.

Harding resident David Coates plead guilty to two counts of robbery, Morris County Assistant Prosecutor Lisa Scorsolini has recommended Coates be sentenced as a second-degree offender and receive a sentence of up to 10 years in state prison.

Superior Court Judge Thomas V. Manahan will sentence Coates on May 28, 2010.

Coates will have to serve 85 percent of the jail sentence before parole consideration.
